AEKU disposable range comparison: essential edition (2.5 ml)
AEKU disposable range advice for Cambodia, covering comparison, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The gap between a mid-range and a premium aeku disposable range narrows once you know which components you actually use. For portable users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
We spent weeks putting aeku disposable range options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. For portable users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
Battery behaviour is where the IQOS III earns its keep: the 5000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 120 and recharges over Type-C fast charge. We would pair the IQOS III with a 50:50 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.8 Ω regular coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
Vapour production is more than adequate at 120, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.
What surprised us most was how little the 0.8 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 50:50 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Arctic White finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the Q-Plus takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.
Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 37 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 0.8 Ω regular coil is the newer generation. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Cola Zero: sweet, fizzy, described as cola sweetness with a light fizz. On a 50:50 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.8 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Cambodia
Availability in Cambodia is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.8 Ω regular and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and KHR rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
If any of the above addresses what you were trying to solve, the rest of the pages in this section cover it in more detail.
